I have been spending a lot of time on the beta grid for SL. Over the course of a couple weeks, experiencing the voice system has been an amazing experience. I've met some amazing people. The greatest group of people I've ever met in such a short time, in fact.
Along with the good people, there are sims and sims worth of abstract, experimentations with the new sculpty prims that will be implimented along with voice. In some places, it's quite a sight.

( See more of the sandbox abstract sculpties! )
And along with the vast expanses of sandboxes, we have made some very cozy places for ourselves to hang out. In Bonifacio and Balance we've developed some lavish hangouts for voice chatting. Lounges, clubs, party houses. The lindens are friendly, and the players are friendlier, and no one wants to leave, even come opening date for voice on the main grid.
( The wall of RL pictures, beta-forged friendships, and the calmest welcome area you've ever seen. )
Voice is bringing many wonderful new pros and cons to SL. There are already more intense friendships and relationships developing in its wake, and I can personally say, SL will never be the same for me. It is for the better, and I couldn't trade the friends I've made in the past two weeks for the world.
And the welcome area is much cozier here. ;)

I haven't spent too much time on SL lately, but I did pick up my mouse and draw a friend from SL!

I was sneaking around Deviant Kitties the other day and saw a very lovely sight! I quickly snapped some pictures of 'Shimmer Ellis', then got her permission to post her pretty little mug up here. ;)

Hah. It's early and I'm bored and burning out after a bowl with the roommate. So I popped onto SecondLife to check out some AOs someone told me about.
On the teleport loading screen, it goes "Logging out... just kidding".

Good friend AlterKatze Barnstormer and I got together for a fun time of posing for pictures. ;)
